The Spice King shares his recipe for the perfect shrimp appetizer, Honey Siracha Shrimp. Super crispy, flavorful and satisfying! you are guaranteed to love it!
Ingredients
FOR THE SHRIMP
- 2lbs shrimp
 - The Spice King Gourmet Seafood Seasoning
 - Black pepper
 - Lime juice
 - Flour to coat
 
FOR THE BATTER
- 2 1/2 cups corn starch
 - 1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
 - The Spice King Gourmet Seafood Seasoning.
 - Salt/Pepper
 - 1 egg
 - Seltzer water
 - Yellow coloring (optional)
 
FOR THE HONEY SAUCE
- 2 1/2 cups mayonaise
 - 3/4 cups honey
 - Salt/Pepper
 - Lime juice
 - 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
 - 1 1/2 tablespoon powdered sugar
 
Siracha Sauce
 
Directions
- Season shrimp with lime juice, black pepper, and The Spice King Gourmet Seafood Seasoning.
 - Place a bamboo skewer through each shrimp. Allow to marinade for at least 30 minutes.
 - Heat oil to 375 degrees.
 - Mix batter ingredients together to form a loose batter (as shown in the video).
 - Sprinkle shrimp with flour and dip each shrimp into the batter and immediately into the hot oil at 375 degrees.
 - Drizzle each shrimp with the batter while its frying to create a decorative coating.
 - Mix honey sauce ingredients together and drizzle fried shrimp with honey sauce, siracha sauce, and chopped chives.
